The staff was great and the bakery was very clean. You can see the kitchen through the windows from the street, they appear to take pride in their shop. The baguettes are great, soft with a great chew, as were the macarons and lemon bar!
I love this bakery! They offer a huge selection of breads, desserts, and specialities! I love the raspberry tarts and chocolate chip cookies. They also occasionally have homemade dog treats to buy, which our dogs love. Customer service is great and Adam is wonderful! My husband and I always make sure to stop when we are in Mystic!
Phenomenal! EVERY item I've tried is baked to perfection. The almond croissants are so good... don't pass these up.
We were drawned by this bakery shop because their baked goods were featured at our hotel (Whalers Inn). Found out their chef, Adam Young was featured on Food Network. Also everywhere we went, people seemed to mention this place as somewhere to try. So we had to make an obligatory stop one early during our short weekend stay in Mystic. Modern cute decor with an appealing display of pastries and cookies. It was really hard to decide. I was told by the girl behind the counter to try the cinnamon roll. It was a large size (definitely couldn't finish it in one seating) and was pretty delicious. My husband ordered at least 2 or 3 pastries to go. I couldn't keep count. Very tiny seating arrangements. I think just 1 table. Honestly, there wasn't enough time in the day to try more. I was particularly interested in their pistachio latte and chocolate chip cookies. Next visit then!
I have to say that their desserts are amazing! We were looking for a simple cupcake place and came across Sift, and WOW! Lemon blueberry cheesecake is decadent! Gorgeous looking and delicious tasting! I was blown away.
